"Swift Champions"
AfS is hoping to extend the informal network of swift enthusiasts who have been in touch with us over the years, and are concerned to help with swift conservation.
How can individuals help? By alerting us to developments where an existing swift colony may be under threat.
If you become aware of such a development, whether a private dwelling or a public building, it helps if you can provide details of ownership, architect or building firms involved,  in fact any details you may find. Sometimes a phonecall to the local Planning Office or Biodiversity Officer can yield useful information.
